Common FAQs for Regency Square

Regency Square is the prime location for Condo living in State College located less than two blocks from College Ave, restaurants and shopping downtown. Please see below for common questions, concerns, and general information about living at Regency Square!

  1. What utilities are included in the monthly fee? The condominium fee includes electric (heat), basic cable, water, sewer, trash, exterior and common maintenance, liability and building insurance, community management, and common area cleaning services. 
  2. Are there security measures in place? Regency Square has security cameras along the exterior, in common areas, and on all entrances to the building. Also, a dial-up entrance keypad is available for Unit's use for guest entry as well as a feed into the lobby camera for visual. 
  3. Are pets allowed at Regency Square? No, pets are not allowed at Regency Square. 
  4. Is smoking allowed at or around Regency Square? No, Regency Square is a Smoke-Free Building; smoking is prohibited in all common and limited common areas of the building. This includes, but is not limited to, the lobby, stairwells, balconies, parking lot, Units, and surrounding grounds belonging to Regency Square.
  5. Where does trash and recycling go? At the end of each floor to the right is a trash chute for resident use of disposal. Larger items and recycling must be taken to the first floor Dumpster Room. 
    1. Cardboard: Recycling will not take cardboard due to their limited space for recycling items. Cardboard boxes must be broken down and put directly into the dumpster from the first floor.    
  6. How do I request bulk item collection?
    The State College Borough will collect Bulk items on a regular weekly schedule, except during holiday weeks. It is necessary to call in or complete the web form to request a bulk item collection. Call (814) 234-7135 to arrange for bulk pick up or select the "Submit a Service Request" button on the Borough's homepage to access the bulk item request form.

  7. Is the Community Room available for use? Yes, the community room is available for reservation by Unit Owners or Tenants on record. This is leased on a first-come, first-serve basis and there is a $50.00 deposit due at reservation for damages and/or cleaning. 
  8. What if there are pests located in my Unit? Regency Square has contracted with Enviro Pest Management to provide service to the community; this service includes regular pest inspection and interim pest treatments. Please contact the office if you notice pests in your Unit. 
    1. Pest Inspections are every second Thursday of each month on alternating floors, such as 1st Floor & 2nd Floor, 3rd Floor & 4th Floor, etc. The time of the inspection is 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Notification will be provided at least 24-hours in advance by under-door notice to those scheduled Units.
